Nephrite jade is a stunning form of natural jade, a dense stone more resistant to breaking than jadeite. This nephrite jade is sourced from Indonesia, unlike pounamu which is sourced from New Zealand and is regarded as a 'taonga' (treasured possession) by the Maori.
